Gotta love gorgeous Bay Area summer nights. I drove home to the Bay to see my family and friends for the weekend. Even at almost 27 years old, there's still no place like home. It feels more comfortable to sleep in the house I was raised in than anywhere else in the world. I sit here watching the stars sprint across the abyss of a sky feeling this sense of...nirvana. No not the band (well...I like them too), but the definition of nirvana being a state of not wanting; a state of being completely content. That's how I feel right now. My father and I had an extremely good dinner at a Japanese grill. It's great to be home. As "Two More Years" by Bloc Party plays in the balance, a slight grin sets in stone across my face.
