Spiritual Bond

Today, I am going to write about a subject that might piss a lot of people off, but it needs to be written. This is the one medium of other lives that people put above others (and for good reason).

"God is not religion, but is spiritual bond."
-Immortal Technique
It is hard for most people to question certain aspects of their faith/religion because they believe that if they question their religious practices of why they do particular things, then they will be blasphemous to their God. You can see this in various religions of people doing certain things or practices just because it is the "right thing to do." I (for one) have questioned many things in my faith of Christianity; it doesn't make me impious to question why particular practices are done within my faith. But, to most people (believers alike) to question anything about one's religion is sacrilegious.

I am not religious; I have a relationship with God beyond what I was taught in Sunday School at the premature ages of 5 through 10. Like the quote above from the underground hip hop artist, Immortal Technique, I believe that God is not religion, but it is the relationship you have with Him that matters far more than what you were taught by a mortal such as yourself.

It is difficult for me to write this blog because I know that most of the people that are reading this right now will speculate that I am a non-believer for questioning religion, but it needed to be written. I wrote a blog a few months back about the mediums of brain control and MK Ultra through politics, capitalism, military, and religion that most people probably questioned as well. Only a fool would put their complete faith into an entity or medium, and not their God.

Think about it.

Afro Punk

Afro Punk was a documentary that was meant to display the subculture of punk rock fans and the blacks that were infatuated in its predominantly White fan base. The documentary was used to display the pitfalls of being a person of Black descent whom was consumed with the punk rock culture and the oppression that they felt from Whites and also Blacks for doing so.

The documentary eventually became a message board for Black punk rock lovers to express themselves through the mediums of particular issues such as religion, race, self-awareness, regional location, musical taste, etc. There are thousands of members on Afro Punk and I have recently noticed that with very great idea (such as Afro Punk as a documentary or website), there will always be a a part of its audience that isn't depicted in a great way. In this documentary, the focus group is definitely blacks whom love the punk rock culture, but the audience of this film was meant for those of a middle-class upbringing and status quo. The film follows and documents the lives of several different kids that grew up consumed by the punk rock subculture, but it is evident that the kids in the documentary were from "suburbia." Within the first few minutes of the film, these kids were complaining and whining about how hard it was for them to grow up being the only black kid in their neighborhood or the only black kid at the rock show. They continued to grumble about how other black kids would ridicule them for listening to rock music.

My point is this, there is a much greater difference for a black person to be from a predominantly White neighborhood and a black person from the inner city whom have the same similarity in loving rock music. It is much more difficult for someone from an inner city upbringing to love rock and get ridiculed by a lot more people than some kid from suburbia. The suburban kids have someone to confide in when it comes to their love of rock music where as the inner city kids are generally surrounded by other people whom don't generally listen to rock music and have usually no one near them to share their appreciation of rock with.

There are two types of blacks in America: black rich and black poor. You can have blacks that may have the same interests and similarities, but it's sad how something as unsubstantial as status quo can effect their interaction. But, hey...that's how they programmed us.

I'm headed to Philly today for the weekend, then I will be going to Columbus, Ohio for my Spring break. The plans of going to L.A. and Vegas were cut short last night, but it's all good. Getting off of this campus will be more than good enough for me! I will make sure to write a blog or two during the week just to leave you something brand new to read. I told myself that I would write at least twice a week on this page to keep people interested in what I have to say. I would like to thank those of you for helping this page get to over a thousand views within 3 months! I really do appreciate the support. I have another goal that I am looking to gain by the end of June, and I know I will be able to get to it sooner or later.

I am still working on getting my forum, "Uncovered Third" up to speed so I can allow people to leave their comments on particular situations, issues, music, politics, religion, etc. on it. I will have the site up sooner or later, but when I do, I will put the link to "Uncovered Third" on here for my readers to get an account on it.

Global Positioning System! You can use the On-Star system in your GM car to get directions when you are lost. There's even GPS built-in inside of your cell phone. The perks of GPS (or might I say propaganda of it) is that you can now have help when you get lost driving to a friend's house whom lives out of your area.
"WOW! THAT'S GREAT!"

There's a program that Google made called "Google Earth." A friend of mine showed it to me on Friday night. It freaked me out more than left me in awe. Just knowing that if someone wanted to find you or your home on this planet, it is now accessible to them for free! How great! Google Earth is a very simplistic program that can scan any place on Earth. I know that the frames on the program aren't live, but it is intricate to the point to where you can even see the car in your Aunt Tina's driveway in Omaha, Nebraska even when you are in Syracuse, New York.

There's phone services that allow people to track where you are precisely and the only thing the person needs is a computer and your phone number.

People, now let's just look at the big picture! This GPS feature might seem great to most of us, but to those of us that look beyond the "awe" they want us to feel...it's a scary thought. If it wasn't anymore obvious, they know where you are and what you are doing at all times. They can see you when you are walking down Embarcadero Rd. in San Francisco; they can see your mother talking on her cell phone at the red light of El Camino and Welsh Rd on her way home from work. If the screen shot images that we get for FREE (subtext: WOW! THAT'S GREAT!) aren't live, you could only image what they are able to do with the government's own satellite screen images of you and I. "Enemy of The State" is an example of exactly the kind of satellite imagery they have over all of our lives.

Most of you will take this blog as complete conspiracy theory; why don't you do the research on GPS yourself rather than let FOX,CBS, NBC, CNN, etc. tell you how great it is.

Wow! Great idea! Click this link below!

Ignorance's Ugly Mug

Ignorance is an element that we all as humans have about some particular subject, person, or event. It's not one of those things that you can try to look beyond; ignorance is the one human element that will hold you back from gaining a higher consciousness of your surroundings and even your introspection. I have learned that over the past few years that everyone wouldn't be able to understand my politics, and it used to frustrate me to the point of temporary dementia. For this I am sure that most of the people to which I have had some sort of conversation beyond the surface level (talks of introspection, theories as such) more than likely envisage my thought process. Maybe it could be that the subject matter to which I speak and write of is deviating to them.

But, then I understand why it is so hard for these various individuals to fathom why such subject matters to which I write and talk about (such as free masonry) could be unbelievable. Most of these people will think what I write about is completely impossible. Some of them will engage more on the subject matter with their "research" via Wikipedia, and other various internet researching components. But, even then when they find out to which I write is viable, they will follow in the footsteps of the others and think it's unbelievable. But, there will be the certain few that will read what I have to say, research it on their own, and agree with my subject matter.

It's not rocket science; "respectable" organizations feed you propaganda of their fraudulent positivity to humanity. I am just taking the knowledge I know of certain things and making it more aware to an audience. Maybe when the "unbelievable" things to which I write about become more believable, some people will not be so shocked at these things' visibility.

Sprint! I hate you! I hate the fact that I have paid you bastards easily over 6 to 7 thousands dollars over the past 6 years and you continue to screw me out of my money with bullshit loopholes. Why am I paying over 100 dollars a month to you bastards for such shitty ass service in the first place?

The dropped calls...the areas with no signal...but, I do thank the operator that did turn my phone back on for the time being. That was very nice and generous. The "I'm in college and poor" line always works!

James Dean! I have never truly understood why I have a slight admiration for James Dean. I have two posters and a switchblade that my ex-girlfriend bought me for my twentieth b-day of him. It’s just interesting how this man died fifty-two years ago, but I find him completely intriguing. The only film I own that he was in is “Rebel Without A Cause,” but there’s something that is unbelievably infectious about this guy. He personified cool; he still does even now today. Sometimes I glaze at my posters of him and say, “Damn, this guy reminds me of myself!” He was one hell of an actor! If there was anyone (dead or alive) that I could have the opportunity to meet, it would be James Dean.

Definitive Swim

Definitve Jux (an independent hip hop record label) teamed up with Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" to put this mixtape together. It has a collection of songs on it by Def Jux artists such as Rob Sonic, Mr. Lif, El-P, etc.

I think they did a really good job putting it together. It is also a FREE download at the Definitive Jux website. If you are into hip-hop not infused with the typical "money, cash and drugs" format, this would be a great add to your music collection.

Gentrification

This process of gentrification is going on throughout the whole world and is a very sad thing that seems to be killing the "Mom & Pop" shops and replacing them with Starbucks, Chitoples, Best Buys, Olive Gardens, Chilis, etc...

Not only is it pushing people out of their lives (neighborhoods), but it is also destroying their memories just so venture capitalists can build these yuppie establishments that have no sense of culture whatsoever! It really pisses me off that people are subliminally supporting this yuppie movement that's destroying people's individuality and originality since now you no longer have the choice of Jerry's Diner, Regina's, etc. (independent stores), but now you have to choose from Chili's or Applebee's.

No Cancun For Moi!

Spring break...so...I was supposedly going to Vegas with a friend, but every time I ask about the reservations, he has no idea what I am talking about. Another lame ass spring break! I was better off making plans on going to Atlanta to see my friend at his college, or going to Houston to see my friends down that way.

I have no idea where I am going for Spring Break, and it begins next Friday!!!

Any suggestions?

Hell...if I had the money, I would fly back home to California for the week and catch up on somethings with friends and family. A drive down to So Cal to go see some friends at their various campuses would be nice.

I wish I would've known this two weeks ago, then I would've bought a plane ticket to Houston, Atlanta, or Cali. Oh well!
